On March 1, the salary minimum rates of job grades 2-8 will see a rise of 10-15%, in order to create motivating working conditions.

As rector Tomas Asser said, there is a need to improve the competitiveness of the salary of lecturers. "At the same time, we continue to be underfunded to sustain a quality higher education in Estonia and thus continue the dialogue with the new government to improve the situation."
