The stand of organisations representing the university staff

The report from 2015 which is supposed to be the bases of recent and coming reforms in science and higher education: Eesti ülikoolide, teadusasutuste ja rakenduskõrgkoolide võrgu ja tegevussuundade raport (koostaja Gunnar Okk)

The raport has been criticised for basing its consideration merely on market logic (Loomeliitude avalik pöördumine: Oki raportit ei saa võtta haridusreformi aluseks).

Staff representing organisations cannot accept that kind of tendency in thought. Treating strategic sectors simply as businesses in market economy has shown its faults in corona crises, where highly efficient US health care system has totally failed (Bloomberg, the Atlantic).
